June 27th marks PTSD Awareness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the impact it has on individuals and their families.

The Ballina RSL Sub-branch’s 2024 ANZAC Day services drew the community together in record numbers.

As the dawn of ANZAC Day approaches, the spirit of commemoration and respect for our veterans grows stronger within the Ballina community. This year, the Ballina RSL Club, the Rotary Satellite Lifestyle Club, and the Ballina Shire Council have joined forces to create a memorable ANZAC Poppy Commemoration.

This March, as International Women's Day approaches, our community celebrates Toni Meldrum and Wendy Britton's selection to represent Australia in the Over 50's Women's Walking Football Team at the Championships in Chesterfield, UK.
