Vietnam Veterans Day 2024:

On August 18, we gathered to remember and honour the brave men and women who served in Vietnam with a moving commemoration service held outside the cenotaph for Vietnam Veterans Day. Veterans, their families, and community members came together to pay their respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many.

The service was a heartfelt tribute to the courage and commitment of those who fought, many of whom endured unimaginable hardship during the war. It was a time for reflection and gratitude, with touching moments shared by veterans and their loved ones.

Following the service, a veterans’ lunch was held at the Club, providing a warm and welcoming space for attendees to share stories, memories, and moments of camaraderie. It was a special opportunity for veterans to reconnect and for the community to show its appreciation for their service.
