Ballina RSL, NSW | 4th – 7th June 2024
This year, Ballina RSL is proud to host the Rainforest Connections 2024 conference, the first conference in over two decades dedicated to the restoration, rehabilitation, and management of Australia’s unique rainforest habitats.
This event, organised by the NSW Government in partnership with Saving our Species, will bring together 300 delegates, including scientists, program managers, on-ground practitioners, community members, and specialists implementing projects in the field.
Rainforest Connections 2024 offers a vital platform for building relationships, forming collaborations, and leading to innovative, effective, multi-disciplinary environmental outcomes in our rainforest environments.
Presentations will feature case studies of on-ground action, species recovery programs, cutting-edge environmental research, and specific tools and strategies for managing rainforest habitats. We will also highlight the important connection between nature and culture.
Attendance is encouraged for professionals and students who want to be at the forefront of rainforest conservation management and innovation.
We look forward to welcoming you to Ballina in June 2024 for the inaugural Rainforest Connections conference.
