Friday 13 December
From 6pm
In this crazy world of increasing distraction walks Tim Stokes, a big-hearted man with a pocket full of songs, reminding us of who we are and what really matters. He is a combination of the swoon of Elvis’ ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love With You’ and the party starter vibe of ‘Dumb Things’ Paul Kelly. Tim Stokes is an artist who’s able to open your heart, expand your mind and get your body grooving with songs that branch the bridges between ages, generations and walks of life. He shares songs sewn with hope, love and light, reminding us the “cracks are there for the light to shine in.”
Tim Stokes a coastal folk and blues singer-songwriter took root in the North Coast NSW town of Byron Bay, a fertile region for similar Australian artists, many years ago after experiencing almost catastrophic car engine trouble. Since that time has played the stages of Splendour in the Grass, Bello Winter Music Festival, and Mullumbimby Music Festival along with many live music venues touring former releases and shows.
