Olive Mae is a folk/ country singer songwriter from a small town in the southwest of WA. She taught herself guitar at age 18 after being inspired by artists such as Frente, Paul Kelly, The Waifs and Missy Higgins. Soon after, she was performing regularly at local festivals and events in her hometown.

After a break from music to raise her 2 boys, she released her first 2 singles in 2022, both of which were top 20 finalists in 2 categories in the 2023 WAM Song of The Year. She has just released her latest single, Girls Like You, which has been nominated in 2 categories (country & outstanding regional) for the 2023 WAM Song of the year. She looks forward to releasing her debut EP in the second half of 2023 in conjunction with a 6-month tour of the east coast with her family.
