Vietnam Veterans Day 2025:
Honouring Service and Sacrifice
On August 18, the community came together at the cenotaph to mark Vietnam Veterans Day with a heartfelt ceremony honouring the men and women who served. Under the guidance of the Sub-Branch’s new leadership, the service was a moving tribute to the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of our Vietnam veterans.
Veterans, their families, and community members gathered to reflect, remember, and pay their respects. The ceremony was filled with meaningful moments, offering time for gratitude and remembrance of those who endured so much during the war.
After the service, the Club hosted a veterans’ lunch, giving attendees a chance to reconnect, share memories, and enjoy the spirit of camaraderie. It was a warm and welcoming space for both veterans and the wider community to show their appreciation.
