Sweet Felicia is coming to town!!

The Ballina RSL is proud to present, in conjunction with the government sponsored ‘Great Southern Nights’ arts grants, the multi award winning blues artist, ’Sweet Felicia’, backed by the Soren Carlbergg Quartet for a once-only performance on Saturday 19th March.

‘Sweet Felicia’ is Australia’s darling of the Blues, earning a reputation for an exciting performances with riveting vocal style , delivered with strength and grace.
To quote master blues man Jeff Lang:
“Sweet Felicia knows how to make a band’s music move with her bass, and her voice soars above it like a bird….. a sassy, take-no-crap kinda bird at that.”

Felicia has travelled the world, playing concerts and venues in the UK, Europe and the US. Sweet Felicia has supported BB King and was a popular winner and entrant at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis USA 2012, winning audiences and critics alike. With followers far and wide, everyone loves Felicia’s combinations of swing, jump blues and R&B modes presented in her unique sweet style.

Sweet Felicia will be supported by members of the Soren Carlbergg Quartet. The night will be a reunion of sorts, as Felicia and Soren were in a band together in the ’90’s. To quote Soren:
“I am so looking forward to this night, it’s been a long time coming, Felicia is such a talent, the way she lays down the feels with her bass, sings like an angel and gets the audience going, will be a blast to be part of – the band will be ripping!!”
