10 Years supporting Our House
In the resilient town of Lismore, Our House stands as a symbol of hope, care, and community spirit. This purpose-built facility, which celebrated its tenth anniversary recently, offers more than just accommodation. It provides a nurturing environment for hospital patients and their loved ones, offering them comfort and solace during challenging times. Our House isn’t merely a place; it’s a living embodiment of community support and compassion and Ballina RSL has has the pleasure of being a founding supporter of this great charity.
On the memorable day of Thursday, 12 October 2023, our CEO Bill, accompanied by a team of dedicated staff members, had the honour of visiting Our House in Lismore. Our gracious hosts, Rebecca and Ruth, guided us through the facility, sharing stories and insights that highlighted their deep-rooted commitment to the Lismore community. Their dedication to enhancing the well-being of patients and their families left a lasting impression on us. It was an eye-opening experience that reinforced our decision to support this noble cause.
