2025 IMD Charity Golf DayTerms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Hole-in-One competition (“Competition”) conducted as part of the Charity Golf Day (“Event”). By participating, all players agree to the following:
1. Eligibility

The Competition is open to amateur players only. Golf professionals are not eligible to win this prize.

All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of their attempt.

Each player may have one (1) attempt only from the designated tee.
2. Competition Rules

The Event and this Competition are conducted in accordance with the rules of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

All equipment used during the tournament conforms to the specifications of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

Players must take their shot from the official tee markers, as positioned by the Event organisers.

The designated Feature Hole will be set at no less than the insured distance and the green will not be specially prepared or altered in any way that may make a hole-in-one easier.

No practice shots or repeat attempts are permitted.
3. Witnessing & Verification

All shots must be witnessed by an appointed Event Official.

The successful shot must be verified by both the Scorekeeper and the Witness, and the player must submit a signed scorecard.

The organisers reserve the right to require video confirmation where available.
4. The Prize

The prize for a confirmed hole-in-one on the Feature Hole is a Mazda Utility Vehicle (“Prize”).

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

The Winner is responsible for on-road costs, registration, comprehensive insurance, and any other state or territory charges.

Delivery timeframes for the Prize may vary depending on manufacturer availability.
5. General Conditions

In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Event Officials and the Insurer is final and binding.

Any attempt to manipulate, interfere with, or unfairly influence the Competition (including but not limited to unauthorised movement of tee markers, altering equipment, or breaching R&A rules) will result in disqualification.

The organisers may cancel or amend the Competition if conditions become unsafe, unplayable, or otherwise unsuitable (e.g. lightning, extreme weather).

The Competition is subject to insurance verification. If the insurer determines that any requirement has not been met, the Prize may not be awarded.
6. Acceptance
Participation in the Feature Hole Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
