What an incredible way to finish an unforgettable journey! Last night at Stars of Ballina Dance for Cancer, our very own Scotty Redford was crowned the event’s Top Fundraiser after raising an astonishing $50,000+ for the Cancer Council!

First and foremost a huge thank you to Scotty’s incredible dance teacher, Bronte. From teaching him the moves and putting in countless hours of rehearsals, to encouraging him every step of the way and getting him ready to hit that stage, you have been such an important part of this journey. Thank you, Bronte!

To Scotty’s generous sponsors, local businesses, friends, family, colleagues and every single person who donated, bought a raffle ticket, shared a post or cheered him on, this achievement belongs to all of you too.

And what an incredible effort from all of this year’s Ballina Stars who together raised more than $150,000 for Cancer Council! An amazing result that shows just what our community can achieve when we get behind a great cause.

And finally to Scotty. You set yourself one massive challenge and threw everything into it. We couldn’t be prouder of what you have achieved and the way our community rallied behind you.
